Another Episode of A Good Look, Feat. Black Chakra

Motivational speaker, noble poet, teacher, and host of the show A Good Look on Damatrix Studios, Kim Goodlook Seabrook @goodlookseabrook. Kim Seabrooks's show A Good Look sparks inspiration and knowledge with her live shows discussing the influence of poetry in the arts, especially in rap. Seabrook's show was able to invest in more depth with poetry’s merit when she brought a special guest, Black Chakra. Black Chakra is a national slam champion who made a job with his passion for poetry he has held since he was little. Throughout his career, he participated in multiple slam poetry competitions and has won a few of them. Although he loves to participate in slam poetry competitions, he also uses his knowledge and passion for poetry to inspire and encourage young people. Black Chakra understands the resistance youth have towards poetry since they link all poetry to the ones they learn at school. He breaks their view with his creative artistry in the poetry he writes widening their view on poetry and appreciation for it. The versatility poetry has is undervalued, there isn’t only one way to write poetry. Black Chakra company and the poetry he spoke live on Damatrix Studios left a lasting impression and brought further insight into the art of poetry.
